Which places let you purchase things after the wedding with the discount? I keep hearing that if you buy things off of your own registry once the date has passed that you get 10% off or something like that. Is that usually true? Thanks!

Macy's does 10% off, and you also get "registry rewards". You get 5% back on every gift that a guest purchases from your registry, and 10% back for everything YOU buy from Macys from the time you register until your wedding. We got a giftcard last week for $128 to Macys!

Crate and Barrel gives 10% off, and so does BB&B (which I don't understand since there are plenty of 20% off coups floating around...)

Boscovs does it as well, plus they give you a shopping day coupon to use right after you register.

All 3 of our registries gave us a completion discount after the wedding that was good for 90 days.

Bed Bath and Beyond will also throw "completion parties" where everything you buy is 20% off, we even got stuff not on our registry that was 20% off. They also gave out door prizes and had snacks and stuff. I used to not care for BBB (I liked Linens and Things), but they were first class with the whole registry thing, so I'm now a fan.

We got a 10% coupon for C&B, and BB&B.  We haven't gotten the invite for the completion party from BB&B yet.
