must-have items?

Hey everybody,

I've been working on my registry and wondered what you guys would consider "must-have items" to put on there? I don't find the "checklists" that many stores/TK offers to be very helpful, because frankly, I don't need and I'm not going to use 14 different types of glassware.  I just wanted to be sure I'm not missing anything glaringly obvious. :)

    I agree with a lot of the earlier comments, get what you need.  

    In our case my FI is a chef, I like to bake and we both like to entertain thats a bulk of our registries.  

    I would say register for some kitchen items, place settings, nice towels, nice bedding, and table linens.  After that register for anything that will make you and your FI happy.
