HI everyone! My name is Danielle and I got married last year. I own my one wedding planning company (www.goldenweddingplanners.com) and work as a bridal registry consultant with Bloomingdale's. We are looking to put together some registry events for brides and their girls, as well as brides and their grooms at Bloomingdale's.
Some of the events we do include a "speed-date" registry where you would come with your future hubby to be and the vendors would be there speed dating with you, answering your questions, so that you could put together the best registry for you both. We also do a "bed-and-breakfast" event where we invite the brides and their groom, or their girls, to experience all that bedding has to offer while having a delicious brunch. Those are just two of the many we do.
But I'm curious what you as a bride would make you want to come and check out a store to decide where to register. What type of event would be fun for you? A fashion show to show off some beautiful desitnation dresses? A make-up production for you and your bridesmaids?
