Wedding gift question/situation

Hi ladies,

My FI is the BM in his BM's wedding coming up in about 2 weeks.  What the heck should he get him?  We having nothing to base it on since he's never been the BM in any weddings and I've only ever been MOH in my sister's wedding two years ago and I did so much for her that I didn't give her an actual gift other than a really nice card and a garter.  He's been in two other weddings, one as a GM and one as an usher and we gave them a cash gift.  Really not sure if that's appropriate in this situation.

Suggestions would be great as we're at a loss!

Being the BM doesn't mean you or he needs to give anything extra. Spend what you can afford; a cash gift is perfectly fine. Buying a physical gift off the registry is fine too. Just giving a card is A-OK as well.

Thanks ladies! 

Wasn't sure if we should give more than we normally would or if a registry gift was more appropriate or what!  Not really worried about funds but I might do a registry gift so we're not playing tit for tat with them!
