Ring bear gifts

What do you get a two year old ring bear? How much do you spend?

Re: Ring bear gifts

  • Boy or girl?  I would get a toy that s/he would enjoy, and if you wanted to give a more sentimental gift, you could get a nice picture frame and put a photo of you with the RB at the wedding.

I think my aunt and uncle got me bride and groom teddie bears when I was a little kid in their wedding.  We got our RBs necklaces with their initial and birthstone from Etsy, and a snowglobe that you can put photos in (we put photos of us together in them) from Michaels, but they were a little older--8-year-old twin girls.

<div>Unless you are talking about an actual bear, the correct spelling is bearER.  As in, the person who bears (carries) the rings.</div><div>
</div><div>I agree that a small, age appropriate toy would be best.   If the child is old enough you might also consider books or games.</div>

<div>That would be awesome.  But, alas, using live animals in your wedding is never a great idea.</div>
  • I like the idea of age appropriate toys or games. My ring bearers are 2 & 3 and the 3 year old is really into Mario & Angry Birds (lol) so the 2 year old is as well (whatever his brother does is SO COOL!)...so I got them angry birds cufflinks. Some kids might not like something like this, but these particular kids love getting anything with angry birds/mario on it. We can't get the 3yr old to take his mario winter hat off indoors LOL

  • I got my ring bearer a super cute Piggy Bank off of Etsy. He is really into Thomas and they personalized with his name and the Thomas the Train Engine characters. Then I put a savings bond inside!
