    I don't think anyone here can really give you advice on this. That's a really personal gift, and I think whatever you say needs to be from the heart or it won't really mean anything. 

    It can be simple - FI and I don't tend to say "cheesy" things to each other, so if I were buying him a handkerchief like that it would probably just say "I love you" or something simple like that. Don't overthink it :)
