Tokens of appreciation

Hi there!

So my Bridal shower is this Saturday ( which I just can't believe!!!), and my sister (Matron of honor) and best friend ( Maid of honor) have soooo graciously offered to plan the entire event and have let me stay completely out of it. They are holding it at mt maid of honors parents home which is very special to me as I spent so much time over there growing up. I have a few questions:

I would love to give a gift to her parents to thank them for allowing the shower to be there( rather large group of women, plus her mom really stepped up to help from what I gather), I think I will send flowers next week after as a thank you, but I feel like I should show up with some kind of offering/token of appreciation....? Any thoughts on this?

Also, it has been quite an undertaking for both my matron of honor and maid of honor. I will be getting them other gifts down the line but am thinking I want to also acknowledge my appreciation for this specific thing...any ideas there?

You can get a cute umbrella or some bath stuff and write a tag that says "hope your next shower is as good as mine."    I got my shower hostess a bottle of local wine and the Philosophy "thank you" gift set with lotion and body wash.  Definitely write a nice thank you note, whatever you decide to do about a gift.

I would bring the gifts for the hostesses to the shower (maybe something a little smaller for the mom), and then I think sending flowers afterwards sounds like a great idea.  Edible Arrangements can also be a nice gift to send.

There's a place in Dallas that delivers warm cookies with milk and that is always my go-to gift. I have also received a few times and it is the BEST.

I didn't bring anything as a gift on the day of my shower. The ones who threw my shower also helped in decorating my wedding, so I just wrote both a thank you card for the shower and gave one gift and another card right before my wedding. Remember, this event is different than a normal house party or dinner where you may feel inclined to not come empty handed. It is in your honor.
