Unique gift for daughter and groom

I want to do something special and unique for my daughter and her fiance for their wedding. They are traveling to Michigan for a Lake Michigan beach wedding. I thought maybe someone would have a cool idea of something we could do for them in lieu of a gift they have to take back in their suitcase!

Or you could pick something really nice from their registry and have it shipped to their home.

This is not in lieu of a gift to carry home but a really memorable one - there are these jigsaw puzzles you can have carved out of wood and used as guest books.  Each guest then signs the back of a puzzle piece.  They run a few hundred dollars depending on how many pieces you want but they are really cool.

How about a nice piece of artwork for their home, maybe you could find a local photographer that has work with the beach or the surrounding area?

offering to pay for their wedding photo album, or perhaps a canvas print of one of their photos -- typically those can be ordered and not something that has to be carried/traveled with.

shipping something from the registry is standard, but nice.

A gift certificate for a couples weekend retreat (spa hotel) or something similar...if they're that type of couple. ...or perhaps paying for one of their interests (wine club, cooking classes, dance classes, whitewater rafting outing, etc)
