My boyfriends step sister is getting married tomorrow, and me and my boyfriend and his three siblings are all going in on a gift together.

They registered for some champagne flutes, but I found this beautiful set of hand blown crystal ones at Tiffany. They're packaged as a set, we thought they could use them on anniversaries or at their ceremony or something. Just some fancy ones to compliment the ones they registered for (that it still looks like nobody bought for them). In addition we are also giving them a decent sized cash gift.
Is this rude or presumptuous? I just thought it would be nice to have a special set for special occassions. But I guess I could see where it might rub someone the wrong way?
