How to let guest know where you registered?

So... we sent out the invitations, but I COMPLETELY FORGOT to put in the little cards that stated where we are registered? How do you let your guests know where your registered w/o calling them up and saying "by the way... we're registed at....." which sounds really kinda rude to me...

It is posted on our website which they should have access to, but I dunno how many people will realize it....is that good enough?

comments, thoughts, snide remarks? :) lol

Re: How to let guest know where you registered?

  • The host of your shower can include in the invitations where you are registered.  The registry informatoin does not get included in wedding invitations.  Your registry information can be shared by word of mouth.  I've had people ask me where I"m registered and I gladly share the information....and then stalk my registry for days after!!

  • her problem is that invites already went out...

you're pretty much left with word of mouth and your website- sorry!  But most guests are smart enough to know you have to be registered somewhereso they'll ask or even just google you or FIs names and they might find them that way.

p.s. don't put "we" sent out invites as you're not supposed to throw your own shower :-)

  • You accidentally did exactly what you should have done.  Gifts should never be mentioned in a wedding invitaiton, whether it's registry information or "no gifts please."  Registry information is fine on your wedding website and in shower invitations.  You, your FI and your family can tell guests where you are registered if asked.

People figure it out.  Our registry was listed on our wedding website and not in shower or wedding invitations.  Some got the information from our website, some asked us and some asked my mom.  They figured it out somehow, because most of our boxed gifts were from the registry.
  • Oh.... I thought she meant shower invites went out.

Do NOT put registry info on invites so you're better off if thats what you forgot to do

okay then we're good....the bed bath and beyond people were the ones who gave me the registry info cards and told me to put them in the invites.... but then again they are trying to make sure people buy from their store.... duh... :)

    thanks everyone!
