First calm down. I do know and absolutely believe that you do not use or even think about using a gift until after the wedding. I promise!

. My hiccup is that the sweetest lady at my work gave me a gift recently for my wedding. She was all smiles and had me open it in front of her. It was something for the kitchen I wanted and had mentioned to her (by answering her questions. Totally not begging for gifts). She said that she wanted me to use it and tell her how it goes. She is one of those rare people on earth that 100% loves giving gifts and seeing you wear/use it. I mean the lady hand made slippers for all the girls at my treatment center for Christmas!
If I could, I'd adopt her as my grandma and move her into my spare room.
So my issue is do I follow etiquette and say I am waiting until after the wedding, open it use it and tell her I love it because I know I will, or white lie it: say I did but don't. The third option seems easiest but she's so genuine that lying even a little leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
What should I do?
