Many of our possible guests are out of town and will be paying towards gas, tolls or plane tickets and hotel accomodations among other things such as parking their cars/rental cars. I feel this is too much for one person (although I have payed for these things at many of my friends weddings).
Thefore, I feel it would be rude to register and I can't imagine what some individuals would think if my fiance and I had a few registeries on the website. However, I have been waiting my whole life to register. Its frustrating.
So I think I have come up with a solution. I could write on the website somehting to this effect-"We do not expect gifts, your presence is enough. However, we know some guests will ask about registries so here they are.." Also, offer two charities if people feel more comfortable with that.
What do you guys think? Or I am worrying too much about this?
