We are having a very small wedding (only 16 very close family and friends). FI says there is no point in registering since 1) we bought a house together a year ago and are in pretty good shape and 2) this crowd of guests will likely ask what we want and ideally we would prefer cash so we can put it into home improvements.
However, the other night he told me I am going to have a shower (assuming MOH coordinated with him) - should I register just in case? Obviously would keep it small, but rather do that than have people just guess at what we would want if they really rather give a gift. TIA!
