Ideas for gift from MOH

In addition to a wedding gift, I want to get my friend something special just from me. A more personal gift. I understand personal is personal but I am just looking for some ideas or gifts you have received or given possibly. I was going to frame their invitation or something similar but I don't think there is enough time for that now. I want something to give her on her wedding day that she will remember.

Any ideas?

A framed invite is nice but I personally find it a little generic. Since the gift is just for the bride, don't automatically think it has to be wedding related (unless you specifically want it to be).  Buying her a special gift should be like any other time you want to buy her a special gift--think of all of the things your friend loves and buy her a gift based on those guidelines.

Thanks. I thought the picture frame was a bit trite so I didn't want to do it either. I am a horrible gift giver, which is why I was here for ideas haha. I try but I never know what to get people. I am a practical gift giver so "special" and "personal" doesn't really go over well with me. Thanks for your help though.

A nice piece of jewelry?

Really though, I'd purchase something from the registry that seems to be something she's really hoping to get.  At our shower, the Best Man gave DH and I separate gifts.  Mine was two of our pots, DH's was our cocktail shaker and beer mugs.  He got it right, because I'd picked out and really wanted the pots, and same with DH and the shaker/mugs whereas many of our other registry items were chosen together.  It was funny that he managed to do that and showed that he knew us well.

If you're already doing a wedding gift though, maybe a gift card to a favorite restaurant or a massage.
