I had posted a thread on the May board about a grand exit from a reception when you are staying in the same hotel and MissAngel said you had done this!

Our reception is at the Hilton Garden Inn and they are giving us our suite for the night. I'm a really big fan of the grand exit but it would be pointless to leave the hotel and come right back. So I was thinking of doing a grand exit to an elevator maybe? What did you do and how did it turn out?

Yes, that's exactly what we did.  I have pics in my bio.

After the last song, our DJ announced for our guests to leave the ballroom to line up for our exit.  When they left, he played a last song for just my husband and I--a "private last dance."  (I highly recommend it--it was our favorite part of the night!)

Then we exited out--our guests had made a line from the ballroom to the elevator.  It was perfect!  Feel free to look in my married bio under Reception.  HTH!
