Tanning

Ok here's my dilemma.  I got sunburned a few weeks ago and it left some tan lines on my back.  My back is also noticeably darker on the areas where it was burned.  I have my bridal portraits on Tuesday, so I know I don't have a lot of time.

I have never been to a tanning salon before.  What I was wondering is how many of you have had experience with the sunless tanning?  How much does it change the color of your skin?  I don't want to be super tan all over, I just want to fix the area on my back.  And how long does it last?  And then does it rub off onto your clothes or anything?  Thanks ladies!

Can you get a spray tan?  That is what I did to cover mine.

Is that different from the sunless tan?  It described two types of tans, the sunless kind and then the kind on the UV bed.

Oh sorry, when you said sunless, I thought you meant sunless tanning products that you apply yourself--like Jergens or something.

I get the Versaspa tan and you have your choice of light, medium or dark.  I do medium without the bronzer--that is what I did for my shower and wedding.  You can see in my pics that I am not very dark, it was only enough color to cover my tan lines.  In my shower pics, my lines were alot worse and it almost didn't cover them.

So it depends on how bad your lines are really.  And it can rub off on your clothes, that is why I don't get the bronzer.

An airbrush tan is a sunless tan that someone actually sprays on you (rather than a booth).   They can control the color and how evenly it is applied, etc.

    Salas Sunless is awesome!!

Oops sorry I should've been more clear about what it is I was talking about! :-)  I think I will try that to cover them up.  Thanks ladies!

I did the Versa for my Bridals and it looked great except for a few spots on my legs.  Its easy but you have to be careful for a few hours after while it sets.  I have one of my BM that swears by the airbrush so that is always another option if you don't want to sit and be still for a few hours.

Well I just talked to my photographer and she told me not to get the spray tan since the cameras are really sensitive to red and orange she said.  I dunno now :-/

I've done the spray tan..second time I did it I turned out ORANGE! I looked like a big fat pumpkin!! I've also done the actual tanning beds...but you can burn from them. When I lived in Lubbock I let someone airbrush me. I got dark and did not even get orange! The other times though I did the sunless taning in veraspa and it turned out ok.
