I am getting married next year and my fiance and i are considering asking for our registry gifts for my bridal shower and cash for our wedding... my sister gave the idea of having a "kitchen shower" where our guests would shower me with kitchen supplies. I know it is a bit unconventional but is it just an idea... is it improper to ask this request? if not, how can we present that in our invitations?
