Hi all. Hope planning is going well! Wanted to share a seriously unpleasant experience with all of you. Hopefully you can avoid the same after reading.
While all registries have completion policies that include 10% off up to a certain amount of time after your wedding (usually 3 months), Target does not. They provide a one time only 10% off card and never tell you it's one time only. Not sure how they expect you to fill your whole registry in one day, especially when some things are out-of-stock. They also don't seem to care. Registry customer service actually told me that the 10% was good in any target store for one day in case I had to go to multiple stores to fill my entire registry. Ouch. Big time fail on customer service Target.
So if you do register with them, beware. And make sure you plan ahead to get that post-wedding discount. So far Crate and Barrel has been the best far and away. I heart them.
