Modern bridesmaid gifts

Looking for great bridesmaid gifts that are modern and usable for my girls! My friend got married last year and gave us tote bags, slippers and embroidered jackets. Great gifts, but a lot of my bridesmaids were in her wedding so I can't do totes, and the jacket is something I have never worn since the wedding... My other friend was just in a wedding and the bride gave them Toms (the shoes) and a pedi gift certificate. That's also a great idea, but I have 8 bridesmaids... That will get pricy... I need good modern gifts like these that are also affordable... HELP!!!!!!!!

Re: Modern bridesmaid gifts

  • My plan at the moment is wristlets plus jewelry (jewelry selected for each girl as an individual, not coordinating and not to match the BM dresses), and then maybe a SpaFinder gift card too if I can afford it.

  • I only had 2 bridesmaids so it was easier for me. I picked out gifts specific to each. One lost her job so I got her a Walmart gift card to help her out while she searched off a new one. The other just moved into a new home so I got her a wall decoration shaped like a tree because trees are kind of her thing. I prefer getting gifts like that because it shows personal thought for each person.

  • Just get them something that you would get them for their birthday. One gal I got an engraved flask (first name only) and the other some fashion jewelry. I also got each girl a personalized picture frame that said "Best Maid of Honor Ever"

  • My sister makes these awesome personalized keychains that are just beautiful.  Here is a link to one of her wedding designs and you  can customize them with any color font and of course your wedding date and have any charm you would like.  Here is the link and hope it helps.  Her mom glass one has an awesome rhinestone heart you can ask her to add to yours if you like them.

  • I am giving each of my bridesmaids a Coach wristlet and a shamballa bracelet that are the colors of their gowns. I dont want them to wear them for the wedding but the colors just happen to look really great on the bracelet and I thought it would be a cute reminder. My sister is my MOH so I gave her a Coach purse but it was also a combo Xmas/wedding gift because it was much more expensive. I also got her the shamballa as well.
  • I also gave my bridesmaids Coash wristlets

  • My plan is to give my BMs a Chanel dinner bag, a Chanel cosmetic set and a hankie with special note embroidered on it.  Here's what I'm thinking of :

[QUOTE]Skip the stereotypical tote bags (most bridesmaids have a million of them in the back of their closets), bath products and engraved trinkets. The gifts don't have to be alike. Pretend it's their birthday, and get something personal for each girl.  Gift cards are always appreciated.
