I've read the various posts about "NEVER EVER" mentioning gifts...even if saying "Your presence is your gift to us". I've read about "spreading the word" and simply not registering. Well, I'm over it. We are definitely including some phrase on the Reception card. We are an older couple. He has been married several times before and although this is my only wedding, we need absolutely nothing and are not looking for cash. Our guests are spending enough money in travel costs to attend our wedding and we are so honored by this alone. We know that some will bring gifts anyway.....so be it...we will thank them warmly.
