My fiance' and I will both be in Pittsburgh (where we're getting married and where we're from originally) this weekend, which is a rare occasion (he lives in Md, I go to school in Ohio). Our wedding isn't until October of 2012, but we're going to the mall and BB&B to look at china and stuff and get an idea of what to register for. Should we actually start our registry NOW, instead of waiting for the summer? We have a year and a half until our wedding, so I'm not sure.
