salad spinner

Can anyone recommend a good salad spinner?  I have had one for several years, but I think it might be getting mildew around the top, because it is really hard to get it totally dry, and I cannot take apart the top to thoroughly clean it.  (Yes, I know this is super gross.)  So, bonus points if it's easy to keep clean.

I have a combo spinner/mandarin that I really like, but I'm not helpful because I don't know where it came from (surprise Christmas gift). Maybe go to BBB or something and check out the ones they have on display? See if there's one you can really get apart.

I have this one and I've been really happy with it. I'm not sure if you're supposed to dishwasher it, but we do and it has held up well.

I saw a salad spinner/mandolin combo at BBB.  I've registered for an OXO one that got good reviews online.

I also know that Pampered Chef has a salad & berry spinner that seems pretty neat.  It never occured to me to use a spinner to clean raspberries!

Thanks, everyone!  We have some BBB gift cards left, so perhaps I'll see what they have (and they usually carry oxo stuff).

I just received the OXO salad spinner as an early wedding gift & am DYING to use it. I've heard many good things about it.

I love my OXO one.  I was going to wait and put it on our registry, but then FMIL gave us a BB&B gift card for Christmas and I couldn't wait!

Ok, Oxo it is!  I will see what I can find.  

Generally love Oxo, except we had an issue with their cocktail shaker.  We registered for the stainless one at BBB, it rusted after one use, so we exchanged it, and the same thing happened to the new one.  Not the highest quality. Just a warning to other Oxo fans.
