yeah I'm WAY too much of a control freak to have my FI plan our wedding! And that's not a glamorous budget either. Come on Oprah we know you've got bigger pockets! lol

I'm getting married in October and I've pretty much got it all planned already, so I'd be perfectly willing to let FI plan, because he already knows exactly what I want. And the dress is ordered, and that's all I really care about! 

But not seeing the groom for three weeks before the wedding!?! I would not be able to handle that. I get sad when I don't see him for one day

I'm pretty sure I would do pretty much anything Oprah asked me to if I was getting a free wedding. I don't want her to be behind my back saying "Hey assholeface, don't look a gift horse in the mouth." Ya know, she's gangsta.
I would welcome a week away from J this close to the wedding. Since I'm within 3 weeks, I'm pretty sure that I can get away with that comment. He is un-freakin-believeable, right along with the rest of his family.

That's twice the amount we're spending on our wedding. To me that's a glamorous budget! :)

Tempting but the control freak side of me says no. And we actually want our family and friends to be there... no way we could get them all there on this short notice.

texaggie- I'm right there with you on the budget! The money is what makes it tempting!

I think those cars were actually donated as was much of the cost of the trips to Australia (thank you, Australian tourism board).

I don't care for Oprah at all, so there's no way that I would take her money or let her tell me how to get married.
