2 or 3 registries?

I am currently registered at Crate and Barrel and Macys. I thought 2 places was the appropriate number. But there are some things i want that those places don't have- certain luggage and vacuum and maybe a few other things. Would adding an Amazon registry look gift grabby? Is 3 over the top? If so, I'll just stick to my two and by those things myself I guess.

If you aren't overlapping gifts, I don't see a problem. I don't think 3 is over the top. Anywhere between 1-3 seems appropriate.

But others may have a better, more experienced opinion on this. That's just my two cents.

I think 3 registries is fine, any more is gift grabby

I think we will be doing 3.  Our main one will be a HM registry (which I know people on here's opinions on that, but I personally love the idea) and then we will be doing 2 smaller ones.  One for either Target or BB&B for a brick & mortar option and then maybe an Amazon one for just a few specialty items.  They will all be completely different 'themes' of gifts, so it's not like we are registering for a sheet set at Target, one from BB&B and one from Amazon.
