My fiancee and I are having a destination wedding with a very small group of people attending. We will then be having a larger (approximately 100 including children) reception brunch when we arrive home.
We have everything we need for our tiny house, and will be flying off to our honeymoon before the reception. Neither of us particularly care for the idea of registries to begin with, we have what we need, and on top of that the VAST majority of our guests won't even be attending the actual ceremony.
To us, it's inappropriate to register. Everything else I'm hearing says that we should. It seems silly to register for the sake of registering ...
Are we being ridiculous?
