So today we started our registry at Macy's and they gave us this sheet that had a breakdown of how many things we should register for in each price point based on the number of guests we're having. We're inviting around 130 people and I was shocked to see that they recommended registering for 200 things with 20 of them being $150 or more.
First of all, 200 things seems like a lot to register for. Secondly, I wasn't really planning on registering for anything more than $150 besides a stand mixer. I highly doubt anyone in my family would by us anything that expensive, and I imagine that if my family sees a ton of things on the list that are hundreds of dollars they would be really offended and think we were being ridiculous.
So should we really register for 200 things and do we really need to add things that are that expensive?
