crockpots

Can anyone recommend to me a really great crockpot? I would like one that has multiple settings, and that can start with a timer.

Tell me the brand/model, and what you love about it!

  • Thanks. I pretty much stick to MB.

  • I have this one and it works great.  I've had it for a few years now and in the cooler months I use it at least once a week.

  • Binxy, we have this one which I love because it goes to warm after the programmed time--the only thing is the 3.5Q is just big enough for the stuff we make, but not really big enough for a large roast or something.

  • I don't have a brand to recommend, but I would like to suggest you get one that the pot comes out so it is easy to wash. I will have to look when I get home and see what brand mine is. It sucks. It takes hours to even get to a simmer with room temp things in it. Horrible.

Yup! Right now I have a hand-me-down crockpot. It does at least have a removable pot, but I would like to register for a new one. Preferably with digital settings, have a timer (it would be nice to have it start on it's own when I need it to), and a retractable cord.

Thank you ladies for your suggestions!

  • This is what I have.  We like it a lot, the bowl comes out and it comes with a sauce crock which is good for fondue and stuff.
  • I have 3 and like the two that you can snap the lid down on the most. I like to be able to carry soup and not spill it all over the car.
