I just had my first bridal shower this weekend and received some great gifts, some from my registries and others not. One of the hostesses (my godmother, in fact) made a comment that I didn't register for enough items at one of the stores.
Should I add things to my registry that I don't neccesarily need just so people can buy us gifts, or should the small amount of items indicate to guests that we are open to them selecting something of their own choosing, or give us gift cards or money?
I keep adding more and more to my 3 registries, but half the stuff we'll end up returning anyway.... Help!
