Bridal Design's "own private label" - *cough*StephieHall*cough*

Sooooo yesterday I fell in love with yet another dress, but it knocked out one of the contenders-- so I'm down to two dresses.

I went to Bridal Design, randomly, yesterday without an appointment. I pulled a few dresses, without looking at brand (although they were all labeled). The one I really loved ended up being from their private label called "teresa" or something like that. So what does this really mean? Does this mean that bridal shop really has it's own private label? They have all different designers: Maggie, Enzoani, Justin Alexander, Jasmine, and evidently they have a private label as well?

Anyway, she is e-mailing me a picture of the dress tomorrow so I can have an idea of what to look at when I'm deciding on which dress. I googled my booty off last night and found nothing.

ETA--
They sent me the pics:
"It is a Tesori dress. Our style number is PO1051221."

For some reason the picture isn't coming up for me...

Is it this?  I only ask because it seems similar to others you've looked at.

So which one did you eliminate?

Stephie - I think that's a Wtoo Bridal gown... and I say that because that's the exact girl that's wearing my dress on the designer website!  Same hair and everything!

Yeah but it's called "Teresa."  It looked so similar to some of her others.  It's really pretty!

Oh well, better not tempt Amber even further!  :)

Gee thanks a lot, Steph! :P haha-- No that one is not it, but it's beautiful!

I (hesitantly) knocked out the ruched lace one from Essense of Australia (D1108, I think it was)...

I googled all bridal gowns named Teresa and found nothing. She told me the designer info yesterday and I forgot but remembered the "t" so I called back today and she said it was a private designer with the store named Teresa but they would email me a pic tomorrow.

It's gorgeous- slight trumpet (going to get Becky to make it more trumpet) and there are horizontal and wide scallop lace details. The bottom has a bit of crinkled tulle coming out. The lace stops at about lower shin and then there is a white skirt and under the white skirt is crinkled tulle. The train is the same way. It's very vintage looking and the lace detailing really stands out. The top is straight across but I'm going to have Becky sweetheart it.

It's between that one and the Maggie Milana (with the mystery colors, lol)...

Ahh, Ok, now I get it.  I thought the GOWN was named Teresa, sorry!

I love that Maggie!  (But I really like the one I posted too, heh.)

Hee, it sounds like you have lots of plans for that dress--are you SURE you haven't already make up your mind?  :)

I think I have a mental problem because I make plans for all the dresses I try on. I have basically had to alter all my contenders in some way or the other. The Milana would be pretty as-is. I have a gut feeling I may be leaning towards this mystery dress, though. I mean I just need to try that Milana on again (I will this weekend). It was the first dress that made me realize I was capable of loving a dress-- it hit me like a ton of bricks. And then it happened again... and again.. and, unfortunately, again. But I have tried to narrow it down to two and those are my top two, I think.

There is a Maggie dress that my mystery dress reminds me of, I wll try and find it.

Nevermind, it doesn't really look like it.  - This is the one I was thinking of, only i'ts not layered and there are only four "stripes"  and they are actually scalloped an not as harsh.. but the pleated tulle is what is peeking from the bottom. http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?page=24&style=J1090

My goal is to "know" by next week!!!

Ok, here it is-- the other contender! dun dun dun!
Only I would sweetheart it and add a small non beaded belt with a vintage-esque brooch. :)
