HA, yeah they would!  Wow.  I don't know if I'm more surprised by the OP or the cordial responses.  I must be on E and SB too much.  My month board can be the same way, though, hence the reason I never go there anymore.  There's only so much, "wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding  ::::SQUEEEEE!!!!::::" that I can take.

My favorite is the thread afew down from that about someone's facebook being RSVP related and then them all going off on who hasn't RSVP'd. One even went so far as to remove them from their guest list without calling to give them a friendly reminder.

I'm sure the E girls would have had a field day with me at one point about a month before our wedding.  FIL, in an effort to save money for SIL, wanted to know if it was okay for her husband to wear his Marine uniform instead of a tux (he was going to be a groomsman).  I flipped on Bill (this was just a culmination of every other thing they threw at me as we planned the wedding) and said "He's not even in the f-ing Marines any more.  I'm not even sure if he's allowed to do that."  This was on top of not wanting to do a waffle station even after I explained that those were the only things my autistic cousin would eat at the Mother's Day brunch we set up, MIL wanting to wear red (weird) and her picking the song "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion for their mother-son dance (ooooogy?  yep). 

There were a few people who didn't come to our wedding whom I really missed, but I tried to understand.  And, hey, I'm the one who didn't invite one of her uncles because she didn't want to put up with his sh*t.  And, judging by how his last visit went, I was right to not invite him.

I'm going into our guest list with the mindset that anyone who doesn't want to be there is probably also someone I don't want there... and people DO have lives. Some people need to get over themselves.

I've never really gotten into my month board because, unlike here, there are too many people who don't know how to use spell check, or not VENT!!! about something every.freaking.day. I haven't been back since August, when it was OMG WE'RE ALL A YEAR OUT,  LET'S HOLD HANDS AND FREAK OUT ABOUT IT! *eyeroll*

Like Wendi, I preserved my presence on TK by just avoiding them completely.

One of my great friends is having twins (missing my shower) and moving to Japan (missing my wedding). Obviously I am going to ban her from my life. This is the only logical step.

I haven't even looked at my months board. I'm thinking maybe I won't bother. Our wedding is here in the Dallas area and most of our family and friends live either in Iowa and Florida. I'm sure we will have alot of people decline due to travel expenses. I'm already prepared and completely understand.
