Texas-Dallas and Ft. Worth

FFF

I'm flaming people who ask for help on the boards and then flame US for offering help because we can't 'think outside the box' and be 'budget friendly'.

That just really rubbed me the wrong way, and I can't put into words why.

Re: FFF

  • I FLAME the creeper that scared me this morning while I was running at 4:30 by driving really slow then stopping. Go be weird at home creepy creeperson!! Mace will be added to the next run. You dont want to mess with a bride on a weight loss mission mister!

  • This is why i rarely post on other boards, the girls out there are mean.

  • Yeah, I hear you on that one. I think everyone was just trying to be realistic and helpful but she took it the wrong way...

I flame co-workers who think that I actually have time to do real work at this point! Haha. No, but, for reals, I wish it was somehow acceptable/appropriate for me to put a sign on my door that says, "Hey, thanks for stopping by. However, I'm getting married in a week so PLEASE do not give me any more work to do. Thanks!"

All of this!! i stayed at work until 9:00 p.m last night finishing up stuff to help out our tax department. I'm semi glad I'm not going to Baylor's football game this weekend cause there is no way I'd have time to finish wedding stuff AND sleep lol
  • This is unrelated to FFF, but does anybody have recommendations for a company that does chimney sweeping/cleaning and caps? We have a wood-burning fireplace, but we are clueless as to when it was last cleaned or checked over. We would have to get a cap before we can fire it up too, so the squirrels don't try to roast our pecans in it. I checked Google, and Top Hat Chimney Sweeps seems to have really good reviews, but no website.
  • I'm a little late on this one but didn't have anything until late in the day. I flame these bratty college students who think it's ok to quit their job via text message with no notice. Really??!!!! Grow a pair and come talk to me or at least pick up a phone. I Hate my job and I hate working in a college town. Because guess what? I'm going to be stuck hiring another one. I need another drink!!!!
