Hi, My name is Mandie. I am newly engaged... Getting married in Dec 2012. This is the second marriage for both of us. I have two children ages 8 and 12 and he has two children ages 11 and 4.

I can't wait to get to know everyone here and share in everyones plans and share my own with you. Looks like I am going to be here awhile.Smile

    Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding.  This is a great board -- I love it.  If you scroll down, down ... you will see a couple of posts "It's Normal" and "What's Your Wedding Date? And more ..." that impart wisdom (the first) and background on many of us (the second).

    I'm also new on here! I'm getting married in a month, second marriage for both of us.  We've been living together for 2 years, known each other almost 3.  We talked about getting married this year but didn't officially set a date til a month ago.  I have 2 daughters 23 and 20.  He has a son 14 and a daughter 12.  I just started reading these a day or to ago and everyone seems to have some great ideas.
