We've been together 6+ years and have been living together for the last 3, yet being married (24 hrs now) is awesome!  Nothing has changed; yet EVERYTHING has changed!  I wish I could explain it - it's like life and our commitment has been taken to another level.

The civil ceremony was very nice.  We had 12+ family members/friends attend and witness.  Afterward T and I hosted a BBQ at our home.  Tomorrow evening is the reception.  Actually, I am content with what has already been celebrated.  ♥

    Congrats Marrin!!!!! My internet went down at home for the last few weeks I have been unable to do my knoting!! You have been on my mind, I remembered you were gettin hitched this weekend. I am so happy for you Marrin. Wishing you every happiness in your new marriage.

    Congratulations. May everything else go as smoothly and as happily as the feeling of being married so far!

    Congrats!!! I was hoping you'd post and let us know how it went. I hope the reception is/was amazing too and keep the picts coming. How wonderful that you feel a different sense of relationship post-wedding.

    Congratulations Marrin! And thank you so much for this post. It is wonderful to hear, as I have often wondered, if I will feel different once we actually become husband and wife. I do not currently live with my FI but like a pp we also have been together for 15 years. Again Congratulations, I am so happy for you!

    That's GREAT!!!

    We've been together for 6 years, we have a child together (I have 2 from my first marriage), we own a house, and he's been reluctant to the whole idea because he thought it would "change things".

    Finally he changed his mind!! I'm looking forward to the "better" different!!!!
