Ladies,  I am curious as to what everyone will be wearing on their feet for their big day!  My dress is ivory and I have my heart set on some super sexy blinged out silver shoes.  FI thinks gold would look better, but a.) I dont like the color gold, and b) I have my HEART set on the silver....  Anyone else going with silver?   Red? Green? Blue?

My dress has black detailing, and all of my accessories are black, so my shoes will be black, as well!

I also think you're right to go with silver instead of gold!

I wore lavendar snakeskin sandals with a low heel (DH is only 1" taller than I am).  My dress was champagne-colored satin.  I'll have to find a picture of them.

Our colors are navy and marshmellow (white), my dress (once I find it) will be white and my shoes navy!!  I have about three styles that I like, but need to decide on heel height as the FI is only 2 inches taller than me.  Wedding shoes are so much fun now!

I have issues with PIP.  But here are mine, they're barefoot sandals, like jewelry for your feet!  I wore these at my beach wedding.  They are sterling silver ones:

However, I'm not convinced that anyone actually saw them, because they were so busy admiring my wife's.  She found some 1980s vintage Stuart Weitzman raw silk and lace boots on eBay, and snapped them up as fast as she could get her mouse into position:

Thank you ladies!  Your fashion creativity has inspired me to get the shoes that I WANT, as opposed to the ones that "match" per conventional standards.  I am going with the 4 inch heel (FI is over a foot taller than me) SILVER, blinged out sandals!  All your shoes are fabulous!!!!

The shoes were my first wedding purchase over a year ago even before I picked the gown. I took my mom and sisters to DSW and they had a huge selection of dress shoes. After trying on about every pair, I found thes  satin light gold shoes.
Sometimes you have to be careful if your dress has a lot of crinoline so that the bling doesn't get caught in it, so I thought these smooth satin would work with any dress.
I already knew my dress would be ivory or another color (not white) and was fairly sure they would go with any dress I chose.
Here they are: At the store still.... but I purchased them that day and they were right in my price range.
