We didn't have them, because we got married, just the two of us (and YES, it was a REAL wedding:-) with the officiant.  It was all planned out, but we wanted it just to be the two of us.

Mine said (centered and formatted, etc): Together with their families, Leslie and Lee invite you to share the joy of their wedding celebration, Saturday, August 1, 2009, Cheyenne Canon Inn, [address], Colorado Springs, Colorado  Ceremony at 5, Reception to follow I bought a kit at JoAnn craft store and printed them myself.  Simple, but nice.  and not over the top.  Our four teenage children were the wedding party.

We are lucky that our parents have still offered to help with the wedding.  So ours will be worded: "Together with their parents, FI and Bride invite you to take a tour of Romance..." (Our wedding is "travel" themed and the invites look like passports so the rest of the wording is not really traditional because of the layout. Will post when we get pics.)
