Hi all - I'm Sara and am planning my second wedding in April 2010! I was married for 10 years previously and have been divorced for about 2 years now. Unfortunately my exdh was not a very nice man and I went through a lot of hell. BUT, I'm through that and have met a wonderful man and am looking forward to starting a new life! I have a 5 year old dd who is very excited about the wedding and being a flower girl!! Anyway, the last time I planned a wedding was 13 years ago, so I'm a little overwhelmed and clueless! Looking foward to getting to know everyone and share ideas! Sara

    Welcome!  The last time I planned a wedding was over 30 years ago.  However, it's been fun, and I'll be getting married in only three days now.

    Thanks for the warm welcome! We are just starting the planning, but we both want something small and intimate, with our family and closest friends. We both have done the big wedding thing before and have no desire to repeat it! Our only attendant will be my daughter, as flower girl. We definitely want to do something to include her in the ceremony (if you have any ideas, please share them!). We are looking at a few venues this weekend - we live in the Philadelphia area and are looking at some local gardens and historical sites. Our plan is to have a Sunday afternoon ceremony followed by a light reception (wine/cheese/appetizers and cake). Just something nice, but simple :) I love gerbera daisies and will incorporate them into the decorations.

    Welcome! i am a little delayed in posting since I don't jump on here much on the weekends! Sounds like you have a good start on what way you are gonna go. You are getting married a month before me I am getting married in May 2010
