Wedding day jewelry and hair accessories.

We've been looking at everything else, and I just took photos of these for my month board, so I figured we could see what everyone else will be wearing!

This is my day of jewelry.  The neckline of my dress shows a fair bit of cleavage, so I'm going to go with a very dramatic necklace to either enhance or take away from that!  The bracelet is pictured above it.

This is my headpiece - which is a Swarovski replica of the Miss America crown.  (I'm not a shy person, in case there was any question!)

What are you wearing?

    I don't have pictures, but ......
My FI gave me my engagement ring for a promise ring - while he made all the plans to actually pop the question and I wouldn't give it back - so he gave me a matching necklas when he proposed and earings that matched for my birthday shortly after so I am wearing the set (they are all amythest, diamond, and white gold) with my deep purple and ivory gown.  The wedding band matches the diamonds in the ring and has my three sons' birthstones in the center flanking the huge amythest in the engagement ring.

Mine was pretty traditional:  a gold-toned headpiece with faux pearls, a three-strand pearl necklace, and faux drop pearl earrings.

Very pretty.  I wore a single Swarovski crystal necklace that a dear friend had given me, and some pretty chandelier earrings.  My hair was half up/half down, and I got some of those picks with clear fake stones to stick in my hair.

See siggy pic.  Because I wore a Grecian inspired gown, I wore a silver armband, that I had custom made, with a symbolic moonstone on it.  I bought chandelier earings that had moonstones on them, and then my shoes were my jewelry too, as they were sterling silver barefoot sandals. :-)

I didn't do anything that was usual.

Oh, the ladies on the board at the time tried so hard to help me!  I could never find a necklace I liked, so I figured I wear an armband.  I found that when I used the word "cuff" that jewelers think of those as around the wrist, and they're about 7 inches.  For most armbands, they're 9 inches.  I'm a former competitive bodybuilder, so my biceps are a lot bigger than that.  I had to have something made from another silver piece.
