    Legal name on legal documents. Invites whatever you're comfortable with and people know you by.

    I told my comissioner (and everybody else i have contracts with) the everything will be paid under my "legal" name but I want everything else to go with my maiden name for instance the sign outside the site.

    For you invitations I would use the name that the majority of people know you as.  I used my former married name on my invitations because it was my legal name and other than family almost no one knew me by my maiden name.

    I had this same question!!!  I'm choosing to use my "legal" name which is my married name that I kept after the divorce.  To me, everyone already knows my story and that it's my 2nd marriage so the jigg is up.  And my fiance doesn't mind which is what is most important to me :)
