That storm last night was crazy!  I sleep through almost everything but that woke me up right away.  It sounded like our old apartment roof might cave in from that torrential rain, and I swear there were at least 15 lightening strikes that hit really close by.  I haven't taken a look at my car to see if it hailed here or not.

And really, Rangers?  What was that last night?!  In the 4th inning, it seemed like they'd have a chance to come back and win it if they could get some confidence going, but that never happened.  It was difficult to watch them get trampled.  If we don't win tonight, it's over.

And really, TTU?  You beat OU IN NORMAN?!  Yessssss!

I have no idea if it rained in our part of DFW or not. I slept through the night, which is pretty rare for me. (This neighborhood has about 100 dogs that bark all through the night -- total nightmare for a light sleeper like me.)

We just de-thatched the lawn in an effort to appease our landlady before we move out. She's been complaining about the condition of the yard so we've been trying to get it back into shape. Exhausting! Especially since we're both pretty sure it's beyond our control, and was even before we moved in.

I am sad we missed the storms too- our yard could have really used it. 

And FI left today for vegas, which means he will be gone until Thursday- and it will be the first time he won't be around for my bday (tues.) since we have met. *sigh* life goes on though . This next weeekend will be good to have some time together
