Second Weddings

What's up this weekend?

What's going on this weekend, ladies?  Anything fun planned (WR/NWR)?

For me, it's all NWR ... taking ornaments/lights off the tree and getting it to the curb, plus filling out the FAFSA forms.  Then, its all about rooting for FI's Steelers!  He's out of town, helping his dad pack/move from FL to PA (completely non-sensical to me ... I'd be running toward FL, ha!).  Other than FI who is here in DC, the rest of the family is in PA.

How about you?

It is a FOOTBALL weekend in my house.  FI is a Falcons fan.  to be step-son is a Packers fan.  and I am a Bears fan...

Oh and my daughter has a basketball game on saturday.

More importantly though - on Monday my daughters and I are going dress shopping!

    I'm really nervous!

We're going to pick out tile, fixtures and vanities this weekend.  We also have a to finish painting the living room; move two bookcases, and put together another storage unit for DVD's, CD's and books so that the daughter can have the storage shelf/bookcase that we're currently using.

We might attempt to squeeze in some wedding related stuff as well.

I'll be rooting for the Falcons.  Washington went down in flames very early this season.  Have fun dress shopping!   I am sure you'll have a great time.  Just make sure you're well hydrated -- we don't want you passing out from a case of nerves!!

Just usual stuff around our house - groceries, laundry, etc.  Still really want to get to Hobby Lobby to look at flowers, but it is supposed to rain tomorrow.  I hate driving in the rain here - people lose their friggin' minds!

YUCK! FALCONS!  And I live in Atlanta.  GO PATS!!!!!  :-)

We're sitting down to plan out all our vacations/outings for 2011.  They mostly revolve around Scottish Highland Games and Teardrop Trailer meet-ups.  And then we're going to look at properties on line for the house we're going to retire to.

Oh, and I have my private yoga class tomorrow, but DH and I lift weights tonight, then I'll get on the treadmill for 30 minutes.

My Lions suck, so the Pats are my "second team" LOL. I lived in Mass for 6 years, so it's not like I have no reason to cheer for them. Actually dated a couple of them when I lived there in the early 80's, but that was another life, LMAO.

My daughter has a soccer game late Saturday night. The rest is rest for me, and football. Kevin is going to his "only" friend's house Saturday night, where they get wasted as only 2 old guy friends can do.

I look forward to the rest every weekend. Not planning any wedding related stuff.

I grew up in New England, just North of Boston, but haven't lived there for 25 years.  I was born in Louisville, KY, though, so I'm not a "true" yankee.  :-)  DH loves the Dallas Cowboys, and has a fit when they don't win.  I think it's hilarious.  Love to scream GO PATS.  I need one of those Pats "throwback" emblem t-shirts.  Hmmmm.

Going to our venue tomorrow with my florist/doc.  They were remodeling the ball room when we went in December so she couldn't see it.  It should be a fun afternoon.

Son wants me to play EA Active Sports with him on the Wii today.  The usual of weekend chores, laundry, etc.  Hopefully a little time can be spent on WR stuff.

Grading papers, watching FH pace during the Steelers game, completing a pacing guide for Stats for the rest of the school year, laundry, playing with the dog and wedding planning ... I may go BM dress shopping on Monday with my oldest ... Not too much to cram into one weekend.

Are you entering your FH's pacing stats into the pacing guide?  Am I following that correctly?  Are the two even connected? <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-embarassed.gif" border="0" alt="Embarassed" title="Embarassed" />  Either way, you've made me tired just reading everything you're up to.  Enjoy!

Fi's daughter birthday was last Monday and nobody in her mother's house made a thing for her, so Friday I cooked her favorite food (salmon and shrimp) and ordered a birthday cake for her. Saturday FI and my son watched the game (FI  is a Viking fan and my son is a Ravens fan...I am a Milan fan even though they don't play American Football) while I took step-daughter to hang around in the mall along with her  friends. This weekend we are working in the final touches of our papers (invitation and such), and I got the most beautiful favors that a friend of mine will bring when she comes from Italy nest April...a split bottle of prosecco along with a Venetian Carnivale Mask. I can't wait to have them!!!

Weekend came and will be leaving soon, but we have tile and lighting picked out, a vanity with counter top and sinks ordered, mirrors ordered, bought a new dining room table and chairs, hired the landscapers to move roses and install our pavers and ground cover... whew I'm tired already.

We had the landscapers remove some really over ground junipter bushes and trim the ornamental cherry tree... hence the pavers and ground cover.

Plus we did clear out one of our bookcases so I can move it and start on the painting prep for the living room.

    Had a wonderful weekend!
yesterday i was thrown a bridal 'luncheon' although some of the guest treated it as a shower.....25 women, my husband to be, my father and future father in law also were invited...was a wonderful afternoon.......27 days til the wedding, coming so fast!

The BEARS win !!!  Bring on the packers.....we BEARS are going to the Super Bowl !!!!!

I dread if it is Bears v Steelers.....our house will be one huge rivalry!

The worst part of the weekend, my work computer is dead....an update rendered it useless and no one knows how to fix the problem...tonight, at midnight is doomsday and all gets wiped out.....i am beside myself...besides my work stuff, all my wedding stuff, personal stuff and loads more will be in computer heaven.....i am horrifically worried about this happening......

TOday, MLK day, I am off, and on the list of things to do...grocery, errands, seating charts and the start of the place cards...:)

    Bears Win

    Dress found and ordered WOOOHOOO!

and quality time with my daughters spent mostly stress free (no yelling - with Teens that's a miracle!)

    Happy Tuesday everyone!
