One week to go for you, hope plans are going well!!!!

Yep one whole week!  Plans are going okay.  We're going to courthouse today for marriage license.  There's still a few things here and there that I need but the big stuff is done and paid for.

I've had an emotional few weeks what with son deciding he's not talking to me ever again and not coming to the wedding and then mom falling down the escalator at Macy's on Saturday.  And then the new antidepressant and getting used to that.  Just been a real 3 ring circus but I've managed to perservere (sp?).  At least the nonstop crying jags have stopped LOL (thanks Cymbalta!).

Anyway, it'll all be just fine!  Thanks Sloane!

Hi Marrin,

     I am so excited for you this week.  I know all your plans and wishes will come true and you'll have a wonderful wedding and you'll be a beautiful bride. 

     As for your son, it's a shame that he's making things difficult for you, but, the only thing I can think is that maybe with his attitude he's better off a bit distant.  For now he's missing the wedding (1 day), he will always be your son and with that bond there is the potential to work things out.  We all do and say things that we later regret, but, that usually comes with time and maturity.  He may not be there physically, but, he'll be in your heart and I bet he will be thinking of you on that day as well, so there is a connection. 

     I'm glad that you were able to get on the medication regimen that works well for you, I know that's a difficult adjustment and not easy getting the right combination.  So now it's time to look ahead, take in your last few days as an engaged woman and everything will fall into place.  And last, but, not least don't forget to BREATHE.......
