3 Rings good idea or bad idea

I havent seen that b4 on ur married hand and my Fi wants me to have 3 rings e-ring with 2 bands so it goes band to represent my past, e-ring to represent the present, and then band to represent my future, since this will be my 3rd marriage but first real wedding, like the saying goes 3rd time is the charm..what do u ladies think

My mother has 2 wedding bands. Her reasoning was simply that she liked the way it looked with a band on either side better than just on one side. However, I think if that's what you want to do, then do it! It will look beautiful, I'm sure, and there's no reason why you can't have 2 bands.
However, only one will be your "true" wedding band, so make sure you wear that one closest to your heart (i.e. it goes on first).

3 rings is very lovely. And the symbolism he described is nice, too.

Just an FYI, on this board, we typically don't type in text-speak.  It's just so much nicer to be able to read written out sentences.  Most of us find it difficult to read the partial words and such, and lose meaning (and patience) with that style of posting.  Thanks!  ~Donna

Not too thrilled.
It just sounds like carrying around extra baggage from a marriage that did not work out. The only real time is the present and future.

I used to wear three bands and found it uncomfortable.  Mine didn't represent much, just that the wedding band had three small stones and the solitaire from the engagement ring.  Then for our one year anniversary he got me the third band that mimicked the wedding band.  They constantly twisted around until I finally had the wedding and engagement rings joined together by a jeweler.  I'd just try them on to make sure you're happy with the weght, etc.

I've got 3 rings, 2 wedding bands (one that matches my engagement ring, and one that is plain and has my engraving in it) and my e-ring. Nothing wrong with that. More bling is a good thing LMAO
