NWR-a little more about our wedding since i'm new to the board

well, its on a sunday @ noon (long story how it ended up on a sunday when it was orginally on a friday lol) but my colors are purple,lavendar,and silver. i have a fairly sized wedding party (1 ring bearer,2 flower girls,2 jr brides & grooms, 8 girls,& 7 guys)

fi and i have known each other since college (i'm 28 & he just turned 33) but never were more than just friends...any who, i'm stoked that we are finally getting married after dating for 3 yrs.

as i stated before this is his second an my first but he is so excited b/c his first wedding he didnt get any say about anything.

    Sounds like your planning is coming along!  My FI and I are also getting married on a Sunday at noon.  It will be our 2 year anniversary - so FI wanted to remember only one day!

    Welcome and Congratulations!!  My FI and I are getting married on a Sunday at 5:30 pm it will be our second anniversary as well.  The date was very important to both of us.

    Chiming in late on this - but I am also getting married on a Sunday!  I am the early bird as our ceremony is at 11am with the reception immediately following. My FI and I met on perfectmatch.com (it sounds so cliche!) in March of 2008 and we have been together since our first date in April of 2008.  This is a second wedding for both of us and we are thrilled.  Happy planning to everyone!

    Congrats! I love your color scheme! Ours are the jewel tones. Just picked gorgeous bridsmaids dresses in deep purple satin, one shoulder, my two sisters are the maids and look much better in the gown than this tall broad shouldered model.

    thats pretty cool! i would have done 11 too but noon was the earliest they had avail! i thought it would be easier for the oot guest to get back as early as possible

    how funny! purple is soo in this year! i have my bm's in dark purple and my maids of honor in lavendar....and the dress is gorgeous!

    I know! All shades of purple are very "in style" this year. My florist helped me pick the color scheme based on the stained glass windows in our reception venue.
    So here it is: I made my invites in the gold with pink, just like the in the pic below.
