Second Weddings

We picked up my wedding bands tonight!

and I don't want to take them off, they are soooo beautiful.
He purchasd a band for either side of my engagement ring.

All the vendors are contracted, and I'm working on the little stuff. Loading my guest list into weddingwire.com, working on my invites and guestbook.
I still have lots to do......

Doesn't it feel so cool on your finger?  I must have tried mine on 10 times between the time we picked them up and the wedding.  DH finally took them and "put them away to keep them safe" so I would stop.  Congrats on one more check on your list!  ~Donna

Mine came as a set and it drives me bonkers that I can't wear it!  FI cracks me up because he wants to wear his too!  My 9 yr old asked if she was going to have one when we get married and I told her that in order for her to get married she has to finish college find a good job and then have a five year waiting period.  (Like that will happen) Oh I can hope that she will not make the same mistakes in life that I did right?

We have his ring, my wedding ring and the ring that will be presented to his 17yo daughter all in the safe and ready to go!  I'm giving her a birthstone ring that was mine, it also happens to be our wedding stone.  We had it plated in rhodium so that it looks like white gold.   She wanted a ring that signified the marriage of her "parents" nice to have a step-daughter that thinks of me as a parent.
