Hello from Italia!!!

Ciao carissimas,

I don't want to make anyone jealous, but am in Italy!!! I came here for a family emergency, but thanks Jesus everything is OK now. So I am here, having some good time (so sorry FI couldn't come - I am enjoying for him..haha), buying my favors in person (not paying handling and shipping), enjoying incredible dinners with friends and  watching the prime minister scandal (so sad, but so funny as well!).
I hope you all are doing great, kepping up with the wedding planning. Will be back Friday ( yeah, great times don't last that long right?)

Ciao, bella ... I'm so happy that the family emergency was resolved positively.  And now, you get to enjoy Italia.  And YES ... I am jealous!  FI and I would love to go there for our honeymoon.  Alas, we will not have a honeymoon ... but we'll always dream of Italia and, someday, get there for our fantasy trip.

After settling things down, I was very glad to still have a couple of days to enjoy the city, meet od friends and eat the best food ever (my bisnonna's recepies). How about a gelato con panna this evening in la piazza del Duomo??

@ Lisa - you will come to Italy and will love it! I never thought of living in US, and there I am!

Ciao! FI and I are extremely jealous of you, even if you did go out there for a family emergency! FI is of Italian descent and it is his dream in life to go back to his roots in Southern Italy/Sicily. We will, someday. Have a good time!

Ciao! Glad things worked out and that you are getting a bit of a break and enjoying some good food!  The DH was in Italy for two weeks when he was in the military, and of course wants to go back with me!
