Maybe I shelter my kids too much but.....

I was looking online for some special items for our HM and came across this

Was fine with the product, then read this review:

This is a lovely babydoll gown. We gave this to my teenage daughter, who is 15, for her first babydoll nightie. This seemed like a good choice, since the skirt is not sheer, and my husband suggested we give her the red and the blue. The young teen is just beautiful in her new babydoll!! It has a wonderful front slit and the cups have just the right amount of lace to them. My daughter likes the side tie thong and feels like the nightie is totally comfy. Her father and I were so pleased that we could get her such a special gown in the style that she wanted. We will be buying more special gowns and underwear from Her Room! Thanks Again..

I couldn't believe it!  I guess I shelter my kids to much, but my 15 y.o. will not be receiving a nightie from me!!

EEEwww....that creeps me out.  My dad would have never thought about picking out clothes for me when I was 15....let alone a nightie!  Yikes!!

My dad was my only parent until I was 16 - but he would have not ever picked out racy lingery for me at 15.  That is scary!

That is beyond creepy. I am over 30 and I still don't want anything like that from my parents. Not that they would ever consider it.

    I find it inappropriate.

Unless they are listing her on "Marry My Daughter", buying sexy lingerie for a young teen is squicky.  Ewwwww!

Gross.  What parents would buy something like that for a 15 year old?  Then they'll be all surprised when she's 16 and pregnant.

I definitely would NOT by that for my 18 yr old daughter and would probably faint if I found it in her laundry ...

Anyone notice mom's age, 30?  With a 15 year old daughter.  I don't think anyone would be surprised if daughter was 16 and pregnant.  So sad...

My daughter will NOT be wearing something like that at 15, and my FI would probably ground her for a year if she ever stepped out of her room wearing something like that!

Ha!  That jumped right out at me too.

The whole review is totally creepy and gross.   Maybe someone's idea of a joke? I hope . . .

<div>Not that this makes  the review any better, but for age it says 30's.  I'm 36, so in my 30's, and have a 15 y.o.  </div><div>Now, I still would NEVER buy my 15 y.o. (or my daughter at any age) a nightie.  Actually, I'd never buy anyone a nightie.  I think that's something that's private and should only be bought by the intended wearer or wearer's DH...  JMHO</div>

OMFG,  that review is from someone who lives in my city, Atlanta.  Have I told you I grew up in the Boston area?  Good grief.
