Second Weddings

Limo???

We will be getting married in  a very, very little city (about 10 thousand ppl) and the longest distance from one point to other is 10 minutes max. I just think that it will be a waste of money to pay around $400 just to to go to the church and from there to the reception hall on a limo.
So I thought of my son driving me oin a regular car and after the ceremony, we will leave from the church driving. What do you think about it? Please give me your thoughts.

I say go for it. I'm not getting a limo, and while I guess I would like one, it's not the end of the world. I might ride with my BMs everywhere, and let FI take his car down to where all his guys are to get ready. Then we'll get away in his green subaru outback, lol.

    Do whatever you want!

Our ceremony and our reception are .10 mile apart and our house is in the middle, so we're just walking!

lol!  I initially read that as 10 miles!
FWIW, I only had a limo because a family member owned it and it was free.  If I had to pay, I would have arrived in a Honda.

My DH drove us to our venue. I got ready there so it wasn't a big deal.  We arrived in a VW CC and we left in said vehicle, but with it decorated!

We went from our accommodations to the ceremony, from the ceremony to the reception, and from the reception back to our accommodations in our own minivan, driven by my son.

If your son doesn't mind, then sure ... let him take the wheel!
