Soooo, my FI was married when he was young and stupid to this psycho woman (she tried to pour boiling water on him while he was in the shower) for less than a month. He did a self-help divorce from her which there were som complications with, but it eventually went through. She continues to call herself his wife, even though he remarried since then to the mother of his children, has divorced her psycho, cheating behind and is now with me.
The first ex, "Bri" showed up at FI's father's funeral (she's still close friends with two of his sisters which is another long story) and began introducing herself to people as his wife, including me. His sisters got her out of the way and had me sit with and walk in with the family, but it raised some questions, so FI had to go to the Domestic Relations Court to get everything settled. They were, indeed divorced and everything was fine. There was a paper she was supposed to have signed before, but the divorce was still legal.
Well, now, there are creditors of hers calling the house, saying she gave that number (he's listed in the phone book) as her spouse's number. I have fielded several of these calls, and ended up having to explain to one person that yes, they had been married, but it was in the 90s.
The second ex, the baby mama, well, she just performs every chance she gets, but she usually does it through the kids. I've never met or spoken to her, by her choice, so she's never tried to do anything to me, but seeing FI or the kids upset gets to me. I guess I'm just frustrated right now and sick of the drama, since I'm a drama free person, which is why FI is with me, lol.
