Wedding Recap - (*gasp* there are pics!)

We won't have our professional shots for a while yet (1st Month-versary), but some candid shots taken by family are trickling in.  Our wedding was wonderful the ceremony went exactly how we wanted it to... The reception was great and a bit of a blur... We ended up with 52 in total - but it was still a lot of fun.

at the salon after getting my hair done no make-up on yet- LOL

The toast...

Mexican Cookie feeding....

So those are a few of the candid shots of course they are before and after the ceremony.  We should be getting some of the candid shots from the ceremony this week...

Sue - When I ordered the gown it was to have been a mermaid (that is what the sample was), without the satin ribbon bow and streamers that was point stitched below the pleating (they were ribbon not fabric) and there were to have been buttons down the zipper flap.

What was drop shipped was a white gown (color correct) with intergal fabric streamers sewn into the back bodice pleating, the skirt was an A-line, the buttons were added but when they were added the seamstress/tailor did not use gloves so they were gray.  I have a great seamstress who worked magic and fixed the issues and was reasonable in her fees.  And the result was a perfect gown - and I lost a little weight so it hung correctly and was even a little loose.

Lisa you are correct it was a wedding 25 years in the making.  It almost seems surreal to me now.
