Final Fitting Scheduled

My fitting that was to have happened on Saturday got changed to today.  So I took in my bouquet, veil, shoes... and put that gown on again.  Today I am liking it more than the last time - only issue is me.  I need to lose 5 - 10 pounds before my next fitting (probably not 10 pounds I could be exaggerating)...  The dress fit all the way up until the last hook of the corset, and the last little bit couldn't be zipped.

How does one gain weight in that area and no where else?  I need to know that so that I can lose it. My butt and such (my typical problem area is smaller than when I went in before).  Time to double up on push-ups and my upper body toning.  Perhaps drinking more water will help?

The veil added that little something that was needed, and seeing the gown with my bouquet helped too. I will have my future step-daughter with me on the final fitting on the 26th, and yes she will take pictures.  I don't have a camera and the one on my phone works great but my seamstress didn't feel comfortable using it.

All you need to do is relax.  Oh yeah, drink more water.  Perhaps put some All Bran on your morning bowl of cereal??  You'll be fine.   I have faith.

I am so happy the veil and bouquet gave it the umph you needed.  Exciting!!

SO GLAD to hear you were more comfortable with how it looks.........

hard to spot lose in that area, but I'd recommend drink water all day until you are in the bathroom 5-10 times a day, and drink fiber products to flush you. (ewwww, the crap we talk about!). Any exercise you do will just bulk you up, which you don't want to do.

Another recommendation, as a seamstress, if you want to go this route: wear the dress a couple of times before the wedding. Fabric and stitching DO stretch out a bit over time. I'm sure you'd have NO problem putting your dress on, standing in front of a mirror and admiring yourself falling in love with the dress and yourself in it, a few times before the wedding. With very CLEAN hands, pull the dress out a few times on each side, take it off, repeat, LOL.

Thanks ladies, due to health issues we already take fiber supplements and eat a lot of fiber in our diet. So that isn't an issue.

We all are just getting over colds and for some reason I had been craving a lot of salty foods. I don't typically cook with or eat a lof of salt.  I use other spices to enhance my cooking. So it could be water retention and I'm not menopausal yet - so there is the lady-time bloat as well.

I'm attempting to guzzle water though... I was good with that until recently (too much going on).

    Thanks again!
